In my latest work, I focused on hand-knitted garments made from wool and on pieces crafted from leather sourced from old upholstery. My aim was to work with materials that carry a sense of history and to translate that into something new and wearable.

All of the knitwear was made by hand, with care and attention to detail. Each piece is one of a kind. The leather still shows signs of its past life – scratches, folds, discoloration – which I chose to preserve and highlight in the designs. I’m interested in the tension between old and new, softness and structure, control and chance.

The photos were created in collaboration with photographer Hanni Fazekaš. In front of the camera were the two amazing models Anna von Rüden and Imanuel, who brought strong character and presence to the looks. Jewelry was rented by the talented Franca Carina Ullrich. Together, we created a calm yet powerful visual language where material, body, and mood come together in dialogue.
